To type the "ñ" character, also known as "enye," on a standard English keyboard, you can use the following methods:

  1. Using Alt Code (Windows):

    • Hold down the Alt key.
    • While holding the Alt key, type "0241" on the numeric keypad (make sure Num Lock is on).
    • Release the Alt key, and the "ñ" character should appear.
  2. Using Keyboard Shortcuts:

    • For some software applications like Microsoft Word or Google Docs, you can use keyboard shortcuts. In many cases, typing "~" followed by "n" will automatically generate the "ñ" character (e.g., "~n" becomes "ñ").
  3. Using Character Map (Windows):

    • You can also use the Character Map utility in Windows to find and insert special characters like "ñ." Press the Windows key, type "Character Map," and then select the "ñ" character to copy and paste it into your document or text field.
  4. Using the International Keyboard Layout:

    • Alternatively, you can change your keyboard layout to an international layout that includes support for typing special characters. For example, in the US International Keyboard layout, you can type the "ñ" character by pressing the apostrophe key ('), followed by the "n" key.

These methods should work on most Windows computers. If you're using a Mac or a different operating system, there may be different methods available.
